Bodegas Fillaboa has joined the cultural programme of “Petiscos IKFEM”, the run up to the 14th edition of the IKFEM Festival Tui-Valença, by hosting a unique wine tourism and musical event on Saturday 27 June.
The historical winery in Salvaterra de Miño shall be the setting for an event that will combine heritage, live music and wine culture, making Bodegas Fillaboa one of the leading spaces for wine tourism experiences in Galicia. This winery was chosen as Best Wine Tourism Spot and Landscape by the Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN).
he event starts at 7 pm with a guided visit of the vineyards and the most emblematic parts of the estate, enabling participants to discover the history, landscape and wine-making philosophy of one of the most unique properties in the D.O. Rías Baixas. Later, at 8 pm, soprano Laura Molina shall give a concert, accompanied by Paula López Atanet on the piano, followed by a tasting of one of Fillaboa’s wines.
This activity is part of “Petiscos IKFEM”, an initiative driven by IKFEM (International Keyboard Festival & Masterclass) Festival Tui-Valença that promotes small scale cultural events combining literature, music, gastronomy and terroir. In this edition, Fillaboa shares the limelight with some of the most popular names on the current cultural scene, such as writer Ángela Banzas, finalist in the Premio Planeta 2025, or poet Chus Pato, Premio Nacional de Poesía 2024.
With this collaboration, Fillaboa strengthens its commitment to cultural promotion and to showcasing the landscape and wine-growing heritage of southern Galicia, once again opening its doors to initiatives that foster dialogue between art, nature and tradition.

Fillaboa Wineries
Fillaboa is a historical Galician estate which has remained indivisible for centuries and is one of the largest, oldest and most beautiful in Galicia and the only one that, due to its special features, forms part of the Grandes Pagos de España Association. Behind the 1,600-metre-thick stone wall that protects the property, lie the vineyards, the winery and the spectacular, refurbished stately manor.
Fifty hectares of Albariño grape vineyards, planted on rolling slopes, form the Fillaboa estate which has a total of 74 hectares divided into 12 plots on the natural border with Portugal, alongside the Tea and Miño Rivers. The granite-based soils, Atlantic climate and mild temperatures due to the proximity of the sea, make Fillaboa a privileged place to grow the native Albariño grape.
Masaveu Family Wineries
The Masaveu family first invested in the wine sector in 1974, when they purchased Bodegas Murua, however the family’s first vineyards date back to the middle of the 19th century, in Castellar del Vallés, where the family originates from and where Federico Masaveu Rivell began a journey to be continued one century later by his descendants.
Since then, Masaveu Family Wineries has grown to become a reference in the sector, due to the quality of their winemaking in several DO´s and their sustainable philosophy and utmost respect for the land in their estate owned vineyards, thanks to which they transmit the unique personality of each terroir in every bottle. This being the common denominator in each and every project initiated by Bodegas Masaveu in different parts of the country: Murua (DOCa. Rioja), Fillaboa (DO Rias Baixas), Leda (Wine from the Land of Castilla y León) and Valverán (Asturias).
