Leda Viñas Viejas, a multi-terroir tempranillo

Leda Viñas Viejas 2017 is the wine that embodies the principles of Leda, the winery owned by the Masaveu family in Tudela de Duero, Valladolid. It is a multi-terroir wine, which comes from different plots that are made separately. The vineyards from which this wine comes are organic, are between 70 and 100 years old and are spread throughout the Duero Valley.

This 100% Tempranillo wine, belonging to Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla y León and aged for 20 months in French oak barrels, has an intense, bright cherry red color with a high layer. It has aromas of red and black fruits, spices and toasted nuances, it is a complex wine and on the palate it is powerful, sweet, fruity and balanced. Only 12,000 bottles of this wine have been produced.

Extraordinary multi-terroir wines To speak of Leda, located in Tudela de Duero (Valladolid), is to speak of unusual and extraordinary wines that reflect sweetness and sensuality; of an attractive “multiterroir” winery concept that connects the personality of the Tempranillo grape with the expression of vineyards
