Leda Viñas Viejas, a Multiterroir Tempranillo
Leda Viñas Viejas 2017 is the wine that embodies the principles of Leda, the winery owned by the Masaveu family in Tudela de Duero, Valladolid. It is a multi-terroir wine, which comes from different plots that are produced separately. The vineyards from which this wine comes are organic, are between 70 and 100 years old, and are spread throughout the Duero Valley.
This 100% Tempranillo wine, belonging to Wines of “Tierra de Castilla y León” and aged for 20 months in French oak barrels, showcases an intense, bright cherry-red color with a high layer. It has aromas of red and black fruits, spices, and toasted hints, making it a complex wine. On the palate, it is powerful, juicy, fruity, and well-balanced. Only 12,000 bottles of this wine have been produced.

Talking about Leda, located in Tudela de Duero (Valladolid), is to speak of extraordinary and unique wines that reflect sweetness and sensuality. It is an appealing concept of a “multiterroir” winery that connects the personality of the Tempranillo grape with the expression of vineyards from different areas of Castilla y León.
